about me

I’ll preface this by saying I’m not a chef — just someone who loves to cook and needed a place to gather and share the recipes that have shaped my kitchen.
From the classics that are always on rotation to the discoveries I’ve stumbled upon along the way, you’ll find them here. Each recipe is shared in its original form, with Anthology’s Notes added at the end to reflect the tweaks and touches that suit our table.
Over the years I’ve tried to make many recipes my own, so you’ll also see those variations woven in.
Basically: cook, taste, adjust, and repeat.

Dulce de Leche Chocolate Shortbread Sandwiches
Chocolate shortbread is a lovely treat just as it is, but we can never leave well enough alone! We figured if chocolate is good and caramel is good, then together they should be doubly so. This recipe creates buttery dark chocolate shortbread sandwiches filled with rich dulce de leche and dipped in dark chocolate.

Classic Confetti Drop Cookie
Butter-rich, slightly chewy, and dotted with vibrant sprinkles, these cookies are one of our best-loved sweets. Serving them warm with a glass of milk is traditional, or for a fun twist, sandwich a scoop of ice cream between two cookies. They deliver a buttery flavour and a delightful chewy texture thanks to the blend of flours.

The Perfect Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
These cookies are utterly irresistible! No crazy effort is required for this perfect mid-week treat, which delivers a delightful combination of crisp edges and a perfectly soft, chewy centre.
